Phil LaBreck (Laconia Leafs – AJHL) has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week.
RINDGE, N.H. (November 17, 2008) – Junior forward Phil LaBreck (Thornton, N.H./Laconia Leafs - AJHL) of the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 16, as announced Monday by the conference office. LaBreck did not factor in the scoring during Wednesday’s 4-2 loss at Nichols, but later piled up three points in Friday night’s 6-2 win over Assumption. LaBreck scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and added an assist against the Greyhounds. The Ravens (1-1-1, 1-0-0, NE-10, 1-0-1 ECAC Northeast) return to the ice on Saturday, Nov. 22, when they travel to Salve Regina for an ECAC Northeast contest. Faceoff is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at Portsmouth Abbey Ice Rink in Portsmouth, R.I.
