Denning gives UNE the nod.

 Denning, a native of Weare, NH, was  an integral part of the Leafs’ 2008-2009 season.

“Matt was a difference maker in our season. He provided our young team with the veteran leadership that we were counting on when we signed him. Matt will be an excellent addition to the UNE lineup next fall. Our organization would like to congratulate Matt and his family on his commitment to UNE. We wish him continued success throughout his college hockey career,” stated Leafs’ GM/Head Coach Will Fay.

"I am excited to attend the University of New England next fall, and to play College hockey for Coach Holt. I believe I can help the program in it's first season in the ECAC East and look forward to opening up against Norwich University next season” Denning added.
