Davenport & Assumption a perfect match

The Laconia Leafs of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League announce that Ryan Davenport has officially committed to Assumption College for the 2009-2010 season. 


 
"Ryan certainly came a long way this past season," said Leafs Head Coach/GM Will Fay.  "He's a well rounded forward who is now ready for the challenges of college hockey.  He is a great student with high character and I am confident he will be a terrific addition to the Coach Lance Brady’s Greyhounds program,” Fay added.
 
The Cabin John, Maryland native finished the regular season as one of the Leafs most improved players.  Before coming to the Leafs, Davenport played during the 2007-08 campaign with the Pomfret school.
