Leafs launch college tour program

“We are excited to announce that we have designed our new college tour program to provide the Leafs players with a first-hand introduction to educational institutions, and their hockey programs, all across the northeast. These visits are designed to help players make a better choice regarding their future” Coach Fay said.
The college tour program consists of 4 key components:
1. Practice at Campus facility - allows Leafs players to experience the hockey programs facility first hand. This allows the college coaching staff to watch the Leafs players in action, right on their campus.
2. A guided campus tour - provided by a student ambassador (player or coach) of the campus that includes visiting the facilities, and the surrounding area. Some campuses are able to provide visits to classrooms and residence halls. This allows prospective student-athletes to experience the offerings, culture and lifestyle of the campus first hand.
3. An information session - provided by an admissions officer or team coach, which allows Leafs players to learn about admissions requirements, financial aid options, and academic requirements for acceptance to that particular institution. These sessions also allow Leafs players to ask questions and receive application materials as well.
4. Practice and/or game attendance - allows Leafs players to experience the hockey program first hand, whether it be to meet current players, experience watching a practice, or to attend a league game, while observing the hockey team compete.
