The nearly Olympic-sized (200 feet by 90 feet) ice sheet lends itself to the fast-paced style of play of the Laconia Leafs’ “Pride on Ice.” With the capability to have ice year-round, the arena brings a truly state-of-the-art facility to the lakes Region community.

  • Built entirely on private donations, opened in 1997

  • 1,000 seating capacity

  • Leafs Private Locker room w/ Individual stalls & showers    

  • Leafs Private coaches & staff office

  • Contains eight locker rooms, icluding 3 High School private locker rooms

  • A luxury viewing room/suites that looks down on the ice surface

  • The ice sheet is 200 x 90 feet

  • The arena was made with over 50,000 blocks, donated from UNH's Whittemore arena project

  • Parking for over 1500 spectators

  • The arena also houses Lakes Region Youth hockey, Laconia High School, Belmont/Gilford High School, Moultonboro/Inter-Lakes High School, Lakes Region Legends Men's League and local figure skating & an Adult Women's league.
